How do you compare Lexus LX 700h with the BMW X7 or Audi Q7? What are the main advantages and disadvantages of Lexus LX 700h over the BMW X7 or Audi Q7? Do you think the hybrid system in the LX 700h offer something unique that the BMW X7 or Audi Q7 does not have. Do you think Lexus LX 700h has an edge over its competitors?

Did a little bit of research and here’s what I found, against the BMW X7. BMW X7 (G07) SUV 2018 is 1.9 cm wider and 5.9 cm lower compared to Lexus LX SUV 2015. It has 0.5 cm less ground clearance and offers 67% more cargo space, according to Carsized online. Each different competitor will be good, but really it comes down to personal preference at the end of the day

If you're looking at cost when it comes to what you're interested in purchasing between The Lexus 700h and BMW X7, it's quite very expensive if you're interested in going for the BMW.

I traded my 2021 X7 M50i for the 2026 LX 700h Luxury trim.

Definitely not an equal comparison when it comes to these vehicles.

The Lexus is definitely smoother, more refined, and tuned for comfort.

The BMW is an absolute beast, but it can also be comfortable and well mannered.

I have shelled out over $10,000 in maintenance and upkeep repairs, and my BMW hadn’t even broke 70,000 miles. I planned on keeping it another 40,000+ miles, but then I decided that I didn’t want to risk something else going wrong. Depreciated resale value around 60%.

I came to my senses and bought this Lexus.

So I would say it’s a matter of what you’re looking for in a vehicle.

If you’re looking for speed, power, refinement all while having the ultimate driving machine, and have unlimited budget for repairs, go with the BMW.

If you’re looking for a refined vehicle that will last, has off-road chops, and massive resale, go with the Lexus.

WELL SAID! All 3 are totally different beasts. Most other expensive SUV's will be larger, sometimes quicker, sometimes much quicker, and easier to get in and out of due to being lower. But only ONE SUV is built for a 25-year, 500,000-mile service lift in hard conditions...the Land Cruiser Wagon and the 700h is it. Nothing is more reliable than a Land Cruiser. They are overbuilt beasts. But they are a bit smaller and offer less legroom in back. So it comes down to priority and desire. Then if you consider dirt roads, off-roads etc part of life, th eothers are simply toys. The 700h is the clear winner overall.

Man do I agree. This is my 6th LX. They are a fantastic. Balked at the 600 V6 bi turbo. The 700h is an entirely different machine and the F-Sport is increadably quick. 🫨The X7 BMW with a V8 was OK but, the reliablity of the Lexus LX won hands down.(y)
Best, Doc
