I know that cost is one of the key factors to look at when buying any kind of car brand. New Lexus cars are quite expensive which is why some people go for the pre-owned models.

Do you think it's better to buy a new or certified pre-owned Lexus?

Personally I prefer pre-owned if I can get one. Let someone else take the depreciation hit. But, if the vehicle is brand new and very hard to get, sometimes you have no choice.

I personally buy all my cars new. I make a lot of money so I don’t really care about depreciation. I just don’t want a car that’s already been used. Personal preference. Had I not made tons of money, I’d be practical and go used as even Lexus cars are over 6 figures. Coming from Porsche to Lexus.

I like someone else to take the depreciation hit for me. I've definitely purchased more used cars than new over the years.

I did too until about age 30. Which is when I started to make real money. Haha. Nothing wrong with buying used. Everyone is at a different place on their journey. And someone has to take he depreciation. My cayenne gts was 145k within a year and a half it’s worth about 95k so big depreciation hit. The taycan was worse lol. I’m done with Porsche for now. I’m all about big comfy cars
