As far as I know I am first in line at my local dealer for an Overtrail, as I put my name down in December. Called another dealer in our state last week and the sales person didn’t know anything about the 700. Kept telling me I was confusing it with the GX. So either he was asleep or Lexus isn’t providing dealers with much information.
Hoping for five seats and caviar, but most likely will have to consider earth as I expect the first Overtrails will be third row in earth color. I understand that each dealer is only likely to receive a very few Overtrails, so it will be an extremely long wait or settle. Waited six months for the right GX 550, which is a very nice ride, but it isn’t a triple locked LX. I also read that there may be a 2026 facelift for the LX, and if they redesign the front grill, then waiting is another option. At this point it is a waiting game to see what shakes out.
